The San Diego Padres are hosting “Throwback Thursdays” this baseball season. I am not a baseball fan but I LOVE the Retro Uniforms. (Yes, I was the girl who went for the team with the best looking uniforms!) On Throwback Thursdays, the players are in old uniforms and colors, and the dugouts are covered with older logos. For baseball lovers of old, Throwback Thursdays are full of nostalgia.
Since I have been attempting to do one thing at a time, (and I hope you have as well), I have actually had time to think clearly about one thing without bouncing off to something else. A friend and I were talking about the events of our lives and at the end of the conversation she said: “This last year has been hard but God has provided for us. Everything might not be perfect but we are still here”. How true!
Sometimes in the midst of a storm, we cannot see God moving. But when we look back, we can see his work all over our lives despite our battle scars.
So Divas, today is “Throwback Thursday”. Think back over your life and remember the things that God has done for you, brought you through, made a way out of no way, healed you or a loved one, protected you, redeemed you, and gave you another chance. We don’t have to put on retro uniforms, although that would be fun, all we have to do is REMEMBER!

Its so funny, I just had this conversation the other day!! Now that I try to follow God more closely, so many things are clearer, I see how the puzzle fits, I understand his timing so much better. I’m now able to Thank God for unanswered prayers rather then ask why? Its always hard to see right away, but I know its his perfect timing and his perfect plan!!!!
Heather, you are so right sista! We get sooo consumed sometimes with the problem that we just can't see our way out. It is so helpful to remember that God's timing is perfect!
