Organized Chaos Success Pack Giveaway!!!

In celebration of our 1 month anniversary, I am delighted to offer Peaceful Diva’s first giveaway! My first few posts were about my quest to declutter. I use methods that I learned from an awesome, no-nonsense, “why do you need that and when are you going to use it next?”, organizer, Sylvia McClintick! Sylvia owns a company called Organized Chaos and organizing chaos is exactly what she does.

I met Sylvia at a business organization seminar where she presented her decluttering style AND her fabulous products! After her talk, I bought her book “Organized Chaos: Three small steps to one great life” and a revolutionary little box called a time cube! Both products have changed my life!!! In her book, Sylvia helps you identify what your organizational and work styles are then helps you declutter. My favorite part of the book is where she asks, “Why do you want to be organized and what is it going to do for you?”.

The time cube simply speaks for itself! Here are Sylvia’s words to describe it: “The time cube is a timer which allows the user to quickly time 5, 15, 30 & 60 minute increments. The cube beeps and lights up briefly when set. My favorite feature is the ease of use – simply tip the cube over so the time you want shows on top. Now focus on what you want to accomplish – knowing that the cube will alert you when time is up.”

I LOVE Sylvia and these products! You can purchase the book and time cube here for only $30.00 (price includes shipping and handling)! You also have a chance to win a Success Pack, which includes the book and TWO time cubes ($45 value) for FREE through our first giveaway!!!

I so need this! LOL! Since having a child I have found that my whole “organizing” process has been thrown off. I can definitely tell that the small amount of chaos that I have is stressing me out. That timer cube would work great because I could incorporate that with my little one and make it like a game! Hmmm, I like that idea.

I found out on Sylvia's website that I am both a Visual and Camouflage Organizer. Lately I've been a little more on the Visual side. Camouflage use to be me before Mini Me, LOL!!

I will be visiting the website to see what kind of organizer I am. Maybe winning the entry will help me settle it at home.

With a 40-50 hour work week, grad school (my last class finishes in August) and my 9 year old and 6 year old twins…I would settle for organized chaos. I feel guilt that I have my girls summer clothes laid out in a spare room because they didn't make it to this year's consignment sale. When I was a SAHM, I cooked almost every day, planned meals and had it together, now, I'm barely hangin' on!

Well I am a CAMOUFLAGER who enjoys wasting personal time- therefore creating large messes behind closed doors and drawers. There was a quote that began with “the goal is not to organize your clutter” and that is what I do! I bet I have 30 storage bins in my house and garage- maybe more… just “organizing” yet my house is so full that I never feel organized, I feel cramped so I go and get another storage bin! I am in a cycle!

After reading the site I realized that I strive to have more of a camouflage organizing style, however I live with more of a visual style. I prefer to have everything put away where it can't be seen but it always seems to creep out into the open and lay everywhere around the house. DRIVES ME NUTS and may be part of my stress and frustration.

I would love to win this because I have six children and not only could I use this to help myself to realize that just a few minutes can go a long way to accomplish a lot, but I can use it to teach my six children how to use their time wisely for just a few minutes to accomplish a goal.

I loved the self evaluation. It seems I have a “visual” type of organizing style. That makes perfect sense to me.
I need this because I love learning new ways to organize. It makes me feel content.

I learned “McClintick and Organized Chaos have been featured in The Pittsburgh Business Times, Point of Light, the Pittsburgh Legal Journal, The Employment Paper, Women & Success, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Inspire Woman, and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.” That is pretty awesome! I would love to win because I feel overwhelmed when it comes to organizing. I work full time and am going back to school. Any tips on organization would help out a lot.
