Menu Plan Monday–Food Brings Families Together

It is hard to believe that it is Monday AGAIN!!! I tell you, the weeks just keep on rolling by! This week, my menu planning is EASY! We did not even get to eat all of the food I planned last week! We went to the Dixie Classic Fair and ate all kinds of junk on Friday. We were invited to dinner at the home of some of my Zumba friends on Saturday and my Mom had us over for a Fish Fry on Sunday–YUM!

Ya’ll know I will stay out of the kitchen for as long as I can!! But I must admit, homecooked food really brings families together. Menu planning makes my kitchen duty a breeze! I was siked to already have a fridge stocked full of possibilities from last week! That meant I had to only create a few new things!! WOOT! WOOT!

Sunday—Fish Fry at Mamas!
I made my famous baked beans:
2 large cans of Bush’s Baked Beans
1 pound of lean ground beef
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of Molasses
Chopped Onion (to taste)
Chopped Green Pepper

Brown the ground beef in a pan (drain if necessary)
In 9 x 11 pan, add the beans, brown sugar, molasses, onion and green pepper
Stir in the ground beef
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees

Monday
Hot dogs
Green beans
Baked Beans (left overs from Sunday)
grapes

Tuesday AND Wednesday
Turkey Tacos!!
(I used the Chicken Taco mix and ground turkey instead of what the recipe calls for! I also cook the turkey with a little chopped onion and 1/2 packet of Sazon Goya )
Salad

Thursday AND Friday

Salad
