We had an absolutely FABULOUS weekend! It was so much fun hiding eggs and watching the kids rush to find them! We had family dinner on Saturday so that we could RELAX on Sunday afternoon! (That was the best idea EVER and the leftovers were just as good today!) Our large family dinners often stress me out.
Yes, it is much different now that I have to prepare and clean up for functions like my Mom used to when I was little. Back then, I played all afternoon, ate until I was satisfied and then ran off and played. Holidays are much different as adult. There are expectations, especially when you are a Mommy!
Sometimes I can meet the “expectations” and sometimes I cannot or (I am tired or simply don’t feel like it). I am ok with that, FINALLY!

LOVE all the pictures… and your girls are just beautiful!!! So glad you guys had a good Easter! I stress myself out a little now about holidays since Malachi… I want him to have these very fond memories and I want to make sure we are setting traditions that he will be able to say all growing up my family did… you fill in the blank… and it was so much fun! As for now… he will just say my mom dressed me up and took pictures, not sure if we did anything else… haha!
