Entry-Way Closet Redo

With back-to-school being in full swing, I have really taken an intentional role in getting our family more organized. Periodically on Mondays, I have been linking up with Sandy over at Organize with Sandy for Organize Mission Monday! Click the photo above for more ideas!

Being busy has taught me that I really do not have the time to do a whole lot of major cleaning at one time. Small spurts of cleaning along the way works better for me.

With that being said, getting things put in their proper place the FIRST time is KEY!

When my girls come home from school, they have a tendency to throw their book bags and lunch boxes right by the front door. When I have had enough and demand that they clean up, they throw everything in the middle of one of our entry closet’s floor.

So, I decided to designate an area JUST for their stuff, a backpack station!

Here was the closet before:
