Well, it is Monday again! Yea? As I was getting ready to wind things down for the night last night, good ol’ dread began to set in.
I had promised myself that I was going to declutter and design a new “Command Center” for our kitchen. (Never mind that designing and decluttering was a very LOFTY and UN-NECESSARY goal for me last night. Anywho, finding the motivation to do it was REALLY hard.
As I procrastinated, I could somewhat understand how people who are hoarders lose the ability to keep their homes clean and orderly. If you let it get too far gone, it gets overwhelming and the “take it slow” and “do a little at a time” mantra goes out the window. With so much to do, you realize, this is going to be a HARD THING.
For the next couple of days, I have to attend a state meeting for my job which means LOTS of sitting and listening to other people talk. I like my job and my coworkers but it is NOT my passion. (My true passion is women’s ministry through dance fitness and writing) But I digress. Soooo, with my ADHD tendencies, sitting still and actively participating has the potential to be a HARD THING.
Earlier in the day yesterday, my family and I had our photos taken for our Christmas Card. (Yes I am on top of it this year!) We haven’t seen all of the pics, but the photographer sent us a couple of “sneak peeks”.
When I looked at the pictures I was reminded of how the obtaining and keeping those “Colgate smiles” can definitely be a HARD THING.

Life is full of HARD THINGS. I am just glad this morning that I serve a God who can handle EVERYTHING!
Mark 10:27 With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
I found this fantastic FREE subway art download over at Simply Fresh Designs
When I finish my “command center” I am going to put this in frame on my nice clean kitchen counter!
Do you have any HARD THINGS coming up this week? Have you asked God to help you?
